Default Weltmeister Sway Bar Adjustment

I bought an '88 Carerra two years ago and use it for DE track events. I want to adjust the Weltmeister sway bars that came with the car, but with no installation instructions.

If I want to soften the front sway bar and decrease understeer so I move the clamp rearward on the car? Do I adjust the drop link at the same time?

Does anyone have a PDF of the installation instructions?

Thanks

Mike,

To reduce understeer, loosen the front swaybar clamp and slide it forward toward the end of the bar. You will need to adjust the droplinks to remove the preload, too.

Hi,

question, how do you adjust the front sway bar with no pre-load? do I leabe the wheel on? I can barley get at it witht he wheel on.

I loosened the front bars off, drove arounf the block to reset the suspension and I notive the drop links were pushed forward to the end of the bar....the only way I can adjust the bar stiffer is if I remove the wheel, then it will move easily...sorry if this is a dumb question...thanks for any help.
