Default PPI in south eastern PA?

I may need a thorough PPI performed on a car in south eastern PA. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking at a car at AIC. Any experience or feedback about them would be appreciated as well.

TIA

Not sure where in SE PA, but if you are near Philly, I'd try Woodlawn Garage.

FWIW:

John from AIC has a very good reputation as does Tim Holt from Holt Motorsports http://www.holtmotorsports.com/index.php
They are not your average Porsche sellers. They know their $#!t. They do know each other and I have no idea if there maybe some inter-porsche sales rivalry that may influence the outcome. That's just the conspiracy theorist in me coming out......

I sold a car to John that is still in his inventory, which one are you looking at? Perhaps I can give you some insight.......

thanks to all who replied. John seems very straight up and the car fits my needs. Time to find the right shop for the PPI as a first step.

Martin,

I am driving up to York, PA on Friday or Saturday Coming through Chapel Hill on my way. If you want a ride up to PA to pick up your new toy, call me. I can get you within 45 miles of your new baby. John can probably get you the 'last mile'.

Paul,

Thanks for the generous offer. If all goes well Monday and Tuesday I may take you up on it. I'll give you a call by Tuesday.

Thanks

I'm near Lancaster and could do a visual if needed. Autohaus is close (dealer) and Hiestand's (indy). There are also a bunch of indy shops closer to Philly.

Thanks for your offer. I think John at AIC takes his to Hiestands for his standard work-up. I believe he follows here so maybe he can confirm this. That said, is it even worth having his 'preferred' shop do the PPI for me or is the conflict of interest too big? Clearly a truly independent PPI done by a shop with no ties to AIC would be best.

Give Bill Boys a call at Possum Hollow Motorsports in Phoenixville (right off Rt 23). He does work for Tim Holt.
