Default help !!911 996 dilema!

Thanks , I'm in real dilema, the situation is really weird I will try to explain and maybe someone can give me better idea of what to do!!
I bought a porsche 911 1999 carrera 996, the car is california 911 with one owner and 16k miles
here is tricky part I bought the car without key!!!!
the stoy strat when the first owner of the car move to panama central america , he took 2 porsche nad bmw to retire down there after some problems with wife he goot crazzy and return to californai leaving behind the 2 porsches and bmw 5 series , i bought the bmw and one of porsche 996, the porsche with big issue of the missing key!!!
I register both cars under my name in panama and legally I'm owner porsche , so I wento to dealer porsche in panama to try to get new key for 911 thats were problem strat , they said they only serve the cars sold by them in panama !!!I i got big argumente with manager dealer get no help down there , so I live in states whent to my local dealer in salt lake city uthat explain the situation bring copy of registration panama, pictures of car vin of car, id, everything they SAID SORRY CAR IS NOT IN COUNTY DEAL WITH PANAMA DEALER, agin manager talk nothing even they feel sorry but the situation but they said they can loss the dealer lincese, any how !!talking to people here and there even the dealer tech, was one solution, to get a computer inmovilazer , ignition key and ignition lock from another porsche same year same car !!
i find couple these packages the sale price $2000
-the other solution was to contact o write to porsche geramany explainaig the matter and that way they can contact dealer in panama or salt lake authorizing to give me key !! but they didn't know if this will work or not or
The problem with the other ecu and parts kit is that I GUESS ones i remove original ecu brain with the other one from werck car the original mailes of 15k will be change to miles showing in wreck car that can be more 100k the porsche tech in dealer said wasn't sure if in 1999 models the miles where keep in cluster !!ANYONE KNOWS THIS FOR FACT ?
thansk for any help or advise can be done with my car but i want to find a good solution to this matter !

Sorry I don't know enough about the locking gizmo, but that must be one crazy wife to make the man leave two Porsches and a BMW behind.

You may want to notice that you have posted this in the wrong forum.

We do not allow water-cooled Porsches in here, this is for pre 1989 air-cooled (real) Porsches only.

Sounds awfully fishy to me...Panama and a Porsche with 16k miles on it? Hmmmm....Something is not adding up here? Or is it just me?

It would be funny if we were getting punked.

I'll send a PM to a friend of mine that is a Pdealer's sales whip.

I do know that everything that is needed is at the touch of a botton and on a satalite floating just overhead. Porsche doesn't forget anything on the newer cars. Lost keys, even the $180 ones, are replaced with a smile under warantee.

That's why I prefer the air-cooled Porsche, no hassles of electronic keys

True. I bought a new unprogrammed MB remote/key on eBay and took it (the key, not the car) to the local dealer for programming. All they needed was good id - drivers license and registration - and they set it up. For all they knew or cared, the car could have been located on the moon.

Riiiiight.

Flavio, My advice is that you call Porsche cars North America and see of they can point you in the correct direction.

Porsche thinks my car is still in Ohio with Greg Thomas so they aren't all knowing, but they are close.

Thanks Chris, It's good to have friends in low places.

Couldn't you have a key to that car in 15 minutes?

the first thing I would be doing is running that VIN and see if it pops up " borrowed for undetermined amount of time "
