Is it really time???

I recently purchased a 1978 Rolls Royce (you can see I have car issues) which is a fantastic car in it's own right and the height of luxury. Beautiful car but no where near the fun of driving a 911. I keep driving both and just can't seem to get myself to let go. I tell my wife that I am selling the Porsche...and she responds "well if you intend to sell it don't you think you should tell someone it is for sale, list it in a classified ad or at least advertise it in some way" She is right of course and I respond I'll get to that soon. SOON has now turned into a few months
What it is with these car that hold us so much? Sure they are fun to drive, look great and give such a feeling of freedom but aren't they just sheet metal like all other cars. I keep thinking if I sell this one I'll never find another as good.
I'm sure I am not alone but could sure use come helpful advice. Keep both (not a likely solution with the cost/wife), sell the Rolls which can be an expensive toy to maintain, or just let go and remember all the good time we had together and move on in my life and enjoy the new luxury toy?
Others must have experienced the "been there..done that" experience and your council would be appreciated. Do others have similar feelings. Comments and advise welcomed.

BTW...if you need more time, tell the honey that in this bad economy it is ill advised to sell the car and you need to wait till it improves. You can use us as expert references.

So, when you're in the corner, which helps you feel more happiness? The 911 or the Rolls?

Their reaction was "althought a Porsche is fun to drive it isn't a very practical car and equally expensive to maintain" Also volunteered was "with all the cars you have owned, why limit yourself to the experience of just one type of car" and "what's the big deal..sell both and buy something different e.g. an older
Ferrari, Masarati, Corvette, etc..they are fun to drive also" In net if you are not married to a particular brand why limit yourself and limit the fun. A guy with several Porsches on that forum answered that he is in the same position, owning too many cars and not enough time and money to play with all of them. His solution was pick the one you would most like to live with long term and sell all the other cars and learn to be content with that. No bad advise really. When I get to the final decision I'll post. My father had a great expression...."Only a man who has options gets frustrated"
and so it goes.
OMG I wish I was in your shoes. Like others the Rolls is a nice car but unless you have a butler driving it for you, keep the Porsche or, something that keeps you young.
