Cool Unobtainium for sale (Reduced)

I am offering the following items which I had purchased to install on my
'85 Carrera which I no longer own:

Rear Reflector with "PORSCHE" in black lettering, mint condition. It's hard to
believe that this is not a new part. Unfortunately the clips for installing on
78-86 cars are not present so existing hardware will have to be re-used.
Not all hardware is present for mounting on 74-77 cars either, so some of
that hardware will need to be re-used as well.

$350.00 o.b.o. + shipping was $400.00

16 X 6 flat face Fuch Alloy wheel new in box, never mounted. There are some
light scratches on the back edge of the wheel from where the box wore thru
from being slid around the stock room floor (see pics). I repaired the box with
packing tape when I received the wheel.

$250.00 o.b.o. + shipping was $300.00

I want to give my fellow Rennlisters a shot at these before listing on Ebay.
Local pick-up welcome.

most 6's are chopped up to make 9s so not one really needs a mint one. But the rear reflector surprises me since it is VERY difficult to find the ones withe the blacklettering in such good condition. Sign of the times maybe , maybe people have to pay the food and electricity bills before renewing their reflector.
Just don't let it go cheap , put her on ebay with a decent reserve.

I would be interested in the rear reflector if it doesn't sell. Right now I'm too busy to crawl under there to look at mine.

New Fuchs in the box are a wonderful sight regardless of size. They make such a differance to a correct restoration. When you have a set sitting around, you're always thinking of something to put them on. I wish I needed them and I hope that a lister here would gobble these parts up.
+1 on the Ebay reserve. Otherwise the reflector may end up duct-taped to the rear of a 74 slant nose turbo cab conversion when it should be on a concourse. I'm silly like that about nice original parts.
Good luck with the sale.

I purchased both parts to correct issues I was repeatedly having during Concour participation. The
reflector on the car was crooked. It was pushed down on the left side. There was a crack under the
"S" in Porsche and I was sure it would crack even more when I tried to remove and straighten. The
reflector for sale here is the one which was to replace the cracked one. The right front wheel was
dinged up pretty bad and it also had a radial pattern of small holes hidden under one of the lug nuts.
They were probably drilled to help loosen a frozen nut. The new fuch wheel was purchased to correct
that problem. The judges always noticed reflector when checking body fit and the damage on the wheel
was always mentioned (but they never saw the holes).

Both of these problems bothered me enough that I wanted to correct them regardless of Concour competition.
My asking prices are exactly what I paid for them about four years ago.

Is Hurley, NY right next to West Hurley, NY? Or, is it even in the same area? I ask because I have a few things from West Hurley, NY.

Good luck with the auctions, if I didn't already have an almost NOS black lettered center reflector, that one of yours would be great!! Good luck!! Tony.
