You can't sleep, can you?

Here is the line that worries me:
911 (1974-89 w/ modified valance)
the valance can just be taken off....

by far less money than cracking open the case to stroke her, or going all the way to 3.6L

I'll just say one thing.....the work looks good, but I don't know what a dyno may say about what it does- which is THE important thing when selecting an exhaust system. This goes back a couple of years, but some of the early offerings by this company actually reduced HP on some testing in DFW. YMMV.

Well you gotta know I have been throwing around many ideas for an exhaust for quite some time now. The price for this thing is crazy IMHO, but the concept is cool. You can buy fiberglass valances for pretty cheap that could be cut.

Ed also has a great point with the performance point.

I still prefer the idea that I have in my head. But it will have to wait till I tidy up some.

Just get a good set of SSI's or heck just a cat bypass will cause you enough trouble with the fuzz.

I have a cat bypass and a muffler bypass, but thats too loud. Although I love how much cooler the car runs on that setup.

I think I would like the look on the car, although the pelican site didn't show any pics on the car or any reviews or any weight or performance claims. Pretty weak, but maybe it is new and that is coming.

It would definitely bring the 997GT3 look and the old 356 Carrera look to the 911. Another reason I wish I had a coupe instead of a cab as I don't think it would look right on a cab.

MUFFLER BYPASS!!!! Put the muffler back on. Poor old people of Florida went there to sleep, not be kept up by the likes of you.

What would be gained by bolting on the 3.2L's intake system to your car from a place like LAPD?

Do guys like Steve Weiner have 3.2 pistons and cylinders laying around after big bore installs that could be picked up at a reasonable price?

Seems like you could go from 3.0 to 3.2 really easy with discards from others.

Pictures and links. Pelican started selling these awhile back. Some new and old threads on it.

That is a really nice piece of work. Love to see what's inside.

I wonder if my customer Big Gun Exhaust (ie. carbon fiber) would venture into the 911 world? .
