Denise shaped my understanding of the automobile, people, and the blending of the two early on. I read her column for decades, before I ever realised she was a factory driver for the majors.
In Nashville a few years back, I visited the Lane Automobile Museum. I had a great time, but they had a Citreon of some odd design. When I admired the interior, I noticed the brushed aluminum shift gate had her autograph. Strange that: it made my day.

Oh man I wonder how loud that is? Those Italians know design for sure. I like the quilted sound padding, and the swoopy front fenders, which remind me of the original Coyote X, the MkI.

Thanks to all. Just found out I will be photographing a few cars Friday for my next couple of paintings. A Martini RSR and a 935. Funny that the next 2 are both Martini liveried cars like my last 2 paintings. I promise after I paint these next 2 I will paint something a little different.
