ME TOO.

All kidding aside, a GT40 is one of the sexiest cars of all time if I may say so.
I guess I should say " A PAINTING of a Martini liveried RSR is in my near future", although a real one would be nice.
Yes the GT40 is a pretty car. It would be really hard to narrow it down to the best looking...there were just so many great looking race cars.

Lambo Miura was one of my favorite. Also the Shelby Daytona. Or the Porsche 962C. All time fav is the 917-30.

I just ran into this website. I love the pictures and the writing. http://www.passo-tourismo.com/en/fahrzeuge

I get the same sort of feeling when I drive from Fresno to Morro Bay in the late summer, via Paso Robles then into Cambria. I posted some pics from this drive a few years ago, but I would like to perhaps shoot some video this year, and will post for you guys to enjoy. I feels like your spirit is flying on that drive, especially in a 3.2 911.

On the racing in New England link on the right side, when you click on the "racing I" pictures, down towards the end there was this picture of the Maserati Birdcage that I painted (seen earlier in this thread). It's the first I have ever seen of the car in color in it's heyday. Very cool. Pic fron the site:

With all this talk of the golden years of sports car racing, I felt compelled to link to one of my favorite drivers(American) who traded paint with the best of them including P.Hill, Fangio, Shelby, et al.
A great journalist as well

Ah. What a great read with morning coffee. Thank you, WB. She's fast , hillarious, so right, and even managed to allude to a popular Japanese saying about uniqueness. I just became a fan.
