Default Windshield wash pump - crimping tool for sleeves?

Anyone know what type of crimper tool you need to crimp the metal sleeves that secure the water lines to the windshield wash pump? I have an 89 919 Cab.

I've never used a clamp. The correct size rubber tubing should just push on the small nipples.

My line appears original and has clamps that are crimped to tighten. There is a little neck at one end that gets squeezed together.

There is a special tool, but few people have them. There is also clamping material a 1/4 or so wide, but I don't know where to source either one.

You can use pliers if done carefully.

Why half *** it with a Porsche. Go to McMasters and you can buy the little metal clamps and pliers. The pliers are German made and cost about $22, the little bands are cheap and work very well.

Here is a link to the overall site, it will not let me link directly to the page with the bands and pliers, but just look for the section for 'hose and tube clamps'.

Yup. Called McMaster and ordered the pliers that have a groove for tight space application and a handful of the SS clamps. I wish I could get them in the OEM yellow cad finish though. Any sources? Even Porsche only sells the SS version of the clamps now.
