I had trouble with the pedals the first few weeks in my 911 but i got usto it and now its great. I also find that when i let new people drive they complain about the pedals too The main problem for me was my toes hit on the top underneth the dash. I took out the a/c deflector duct and that helped alot.

I've only got size 11's, but I've never had issue with toes hitting..Not an issue if I'm wearing driving shoes....just have to watch the width.

Adding a dead pedal is a must.

I can echo what is being said here. 6'-3", 185 lbs. No problem with leg room and head room, but I did find the pedal area awkward at first with my size 12. I do avoid using certain shoes that have an overwide sole. However, now I have no problem.

They are really cool cars. In many ways, the ergonomics and controls are in the dark ages compared to the 928, but the character of the 911 is so in-your-face that you don't expect it to be anything like other cars anyway... like its supposed to be odd!

Kyle - did you sell your car? Holy sh*t, leave for a few days and drive (very fast I might ad) to Montana and come back on line to find out Shark Attack is selling his beautiful green shark after only one SITM

6'3 here, my head hits the roof (sunroof car) if I straighten right up, power seats are the killer, have sat in them sans power and I have plenty of head room.

John,
I also wear converse allstars when driving they are great the thin sole lets you feel the pedals. Think the offset and close pedal cluster is what makes it seem difficult for first timers but you get used to it...

Not only do you get used to it, but you'll also learn that this is how a car should be setup. It is ideal for running up and down the gears while heel/toeing.

I'm 6'2" with legs like I'm two inches taller with a 91 and I got my mechanic to move the seat back because I thought the stock setting was too tight. I'm still not crazy about it but I'm getting use to it.

I drove the '75 with fire boots on... no biggy....
And I don't see why the 928 crowd would get upset...
I have someone after the '75 911 - wanting to trade even up for a '90 928...
I'll keep the 911, thank you...
