There is also a good article in the Hagerty Insurance quarterly mag that shows ZDDP levels of several different oils.

Its not on their website yet. I got it in the mail. I'd scan it in if I was equipped to do so.

I switched to Brad Penn in my 83 from dino oil that the PO used which was Kendall GT-1. Since the BP is part syn I am getting a little weeping that was not there before. No real leaks and no oil spots on the floor just damp. I called Valvoline and they told me that their VR-1 Racing oil that is the Street Legal oil has 1300 PPM ZDDP. I ask a second time and was assured they were talking about the VR-1 oil at the local parts house. Since this meets or exceeds the spec for ZDDP I am considering switching back to the dino juice because of the seepage with the syn in the old engine.

I'll post the List of oils from the article along their ZDDP levels this weekend.

Torco also has an additive

Careful about racing oils, apparently they don't have the same detergents and thus require more frequent changing.
