Double clutching... heel-toeing.... yeah, it can be done. But my guess is on your first DE you'll have enough to think about just understanding the line you want to pick around the apex, how to get on and off throttle smoothly, and when to tap your brakes to transfer weight to the steering wheels, and all that basic stuff.

I suppose if you're on a track that isn't really technical you may be able to spend some time doing heel-toe and such. I elected not to attempt it on my first DE. I felt I had enough other stuff to do Also, my pedals aren't set up for it.
