Well, at least we know the rev limiter works.

And I saw no drift, just some idiot beating the **** out of his car trying to impress someone. Also, I think it's time for the rear suspension to be 'refreshed'.

Looked like a couple kids being stupid. They would have had much better luck in an old 5 liter Mustang. Shame looked like a really nice car other than the rear suspension.

Why do I have the feeling that this particular 911 is now in an impound somewhere ?

LOL!

I always thought that "kill a 911" episode should have been called "kill a piano" - the piano came out a WHOLE lot worse than the Porsche did in that first scene!

Just seeing the invocation of baby Jesus next to your avatar made me laugh so hard!

Definitely little more than clutch abuse...

THIS is a proper Porsche drift video:

And a good description of the driver here:

http://autoindustrie.blogspot.com/20...-drifting.html

Vic Elford is said to have passed cars by drifting around them on the outer edge of the Nurburgring carousels in his long hood 911.

There is another portion of that video that has more outside car shots. I have had the video on VHS for about 15 years now. What really makes you go "wow" is the fact he is wearing no helmet. Definitely the king of the ring. They also need to metion that rally drivers have been drifting for many many years as well.
