Man, I wish i had a local Peter Zimmermann instead of these hacks.

Peter can recommend a decent clutch upgrade, I've been told a 930 disk? My clutch works fine but under full boost with 2 people in the car it's slipping, probably keeping the gearbox together!

isn't 16 hours labor for a clutch a bit much?

This is a tough one, because in CA we just didn't do this type of work because of smog regs. I know that there are retailers out there who sell high performance clutch parts, but I'm not sure how to mix and match them. I'll ask around next week and see if I can come up with some info for you that makes sense... Does the car still have its stock G 50 setup now?

It could be right on the money. Considering that there was a bit of R&R'ing the "while you're in there" stuff, which would certainly require some cleanup. While I'm no professional, I'd have every bit of 2 days labor to drop the engine, change clutch and the other stuff done, and then put it all back in.
