I have a 3.2L Euro with SSIs and a 2in2out M&K pipe and it is LOUD. It also drones inside the cabin when below 3000RPMs. The pipe came with the car. But what I learned is that if I cap off one of the outputs the pipe becomes much more tolerable. I made a cap from some sock Alum. Now I really like the pipe and get best of both worlds: I cap it for every day driving and un-cap it when I want to really drive hard.

Also, when I have the cap installed the droning in the cabin stops.

Just thought I'd mention this.

I have a 3 litre with ssi's and a stock muffler. I added a tailpipe on the right side, and man is it loud. It has a drone until 3000 rpm as well.
Sounds great though.
