Absolutely! As mentioned in an earlier post, we have been driven a BMW 320 Ci E46 '01 in two years as a daily driver, and it has never let us down. Actually no cost at all on reapirs except a broken mirror shield, but that might have been my fault...

I drove my turbo 964 as a daily driver for 2.5 years and 25K miles, just sold it last month. I was probably the last 965 owner in the world who used one as a daily driver.... with good reason: Although I loved every minute of it, the running costs were horrendous!
I also used my 3.2's as daily drivers and they were great fun and not bad on the costs.

My 911 has no AC (we typically have very hot/humid summers), and there's no way I'm driving it in the winter, so I have this...

98 Mazda Protege: To economically and uneventfully haul that third or fourth passenger in reasonable comfort.
89 GMC 1500 Sportside: To less economically haul junk around.

I drove my not daily driver to work today and was pleasantly surprised to come up right behind a nice 86 or later Metallic Brown Carrera. I immediately received a friendly wave through his sunroof which was very cool. Maybe I'll drive her into work a few extra days a week on occasion :-)
