That's one awful car - a flat-6 is the essence of the 911 and replacing it with anything else just sucks.

I was wondering that too. How much flat six could you buy for $70,000? I would think close to 500 hp. Anyway, I have never been a fan of even sticking a chevy v8 in a ford, much less in a porsche. Don't get me wrong, the chevy small block was and is a great engine, but switching engine brands just seems fundamentally wrong to me.
