Default Trying to get some old dirt out of my seats...

I have an 88 coupe, apparantly PO spilled a creamy soup on passenger seat and seeped into the tiny holes on the "butt rest area". Been trying to get all of it out and have been unsuccessful. Tried with power vac. got some but not all of it out.
Any ideas?

thanks, leo

soup? You can hope for soup, you can pray for soup, you can chant to the east for soup butt I don't think so. I'd be using protection right now, cause I don't think it's soup.....

I'm thinking something far worse

I get it Doug. BTW, I'm not sure I want to be famous for that quote, but I do like the line.

Doug's post has given my my dose of "ewwww" for the day. Thanks!

Leatherique products will likely remove the, uh, "soup." Prestine clean and leather conditioner...your seats will thank you.

The problem is being able to get to the soup that seeped into the holes.

Your favorite leather shampoo product and a toothbrush. If that doesn't work, a toothpick to address each hole individually.

Its probably not just in the holes. Its probably seeped into the seat cushion. Leatherique is great stuff. That will only get it out of the leather. You might want to ozone too if you got the soup funk smell.

i had something similar happen - I used mink oil on my Momo , which was cracking -it worked so nicely , i put it on my seats - and ended up with tiny white dots all over. leather cleaning products didn't help (tho probably didn't hurt) , and I thought of toothpicks , but was afraid to do that ,lest I tear the holes larger - I just left it and I guess it slowly dried, and disappeared (fell out?)...
