Very nice example! When I was looking for my 996 that dealer had a car I was interested in but their prices were a tad high

Gorgeous car, and the G50 3.2 prices are going up these days. However, that does seem a bit high.

The low miles are nice, but I'd worry that it might have been sitting around for several years so a PPI would be essential.

It is a very nice looking car. I think the price is to high and the milage is way to low. Unless it has been stored in the perfect inviroment, it will need a good going through to make it street ready. If your going to show it and not drive it, it is still too pricey. IMO For that money buy something new to enjoy as they were ment to be.

If I had the money I would buy it and use it for a daily driver.
After a passing PPI, I say this car is well worth it. I have not seen another 80's 911 in as brand new condition as this one.

What exactly are you looking for in a car? A concours one? A daily driver? A track car?

??? Why trash such a nice example?

Funny the different philosophies that exist re: "Garage Queens" vs. "Drive 'Em!"

Yes, worth the money, but you would not be able to liquidate for that amount yourself. And if you drive it, you might be afraid to really use it or put miles on it, but really, you would be best advised to drive it, get use out of it, and if you ever did sell, you would have had the value of the object in use, and be selling for a fair price at whatever given mileage.

I talk like that too. Really nice car.

How would driving the car be considered trashing the car? My car is still queen of the garage when she is resting in it. I am sure there are plenty of museum pieces still left out there that will never see the road...pitty.
I think of it this way...it would be like 1987 all over again with a brand new 911.
Then it would be well broken in for the next guy after I put 100,000 miles on the clock. But if I had $40,000 to spend it would be spent on an orange 930 to keep my SC company.

Oh well, I can only dream. Guess I am just stuck with my high mileage piece of trash.

Because you're taking the two most valuable aspects of the car (low miles and condition) and blowing them away.
Might as well just take the $12-15K premium this car is going to fetch, and light it on fire.

Michael if your 83 is a high mileage piece of trash then OMG what does my 78 end up being.....

The difference between Ferrari and Porsche drivers ? Ferrari Drivers are proud of how few miles are on their car . Porsche drivers are proud of how many !!!

Hasn't this car been in his inventory awhile?
