So a customer tells me about his partner's 911 after seeing mine out front.
Today the partner comes in himself.
He found a 69 911S with the motor out and 2 spares, all in boxes.
Body mint. Original owner. Not driven for 15 years. 80K.
And yes it was in a barn. The guy had covered it and hoisted it up into the rafters.
Guess how much?

wow. thats one thing i like about driving my 911 almost daily. You get people all the time telling stories about porsches they once had or have. Maby someday ill stumble upon a deal

Not unless gas counts. Tires, some lug nuts, a couple of cases of oil, a filter, a fan belt, and some wax. The car just sits in the garage most of the time. I take it out at least every other Sunday. Don't get me wrong, Bray, if I had your money, I would be spending every weekend taking stuff apart and replacing parts....

Keep the faith, I found my 914 in a shed last fall with 24K on it and bought it for nothing. Body is great and it runs like a champ. I never thought something like this would happen to me, but it did! - Jay
