New to this just saying hi
Hello everyone i am new to the rennlist forum and figured i would introduce myself, my name is Alex and i am 17. As of right now i have an 86 911 coupe an 86 merc 300e and a 1973 bmw 2002. Cars are my life and passion, i work very hard to be able to own what i own and i have the up most respect for my possessions. It must be hard to believe this coming from a 17 year old but I hope that you can let your guard down and give me a chance. I just purchased my 911 after falling in love with them after having driven quite a few. I have owned many bmw's but they in no way come close to the driving experience of a Porsche. I purchased my 911 from a club member that has owned it for most of its life. It has 115k on the clock and is good condition. I am a perfectionist so any imperfections bother me. In two weeks the car is being sent to the body shop where every little exterior imperfection will be fixed to bring it back to its glory. This should give me motivation to fix all its little mechanical issues such as a vacuum leak and other odds and ends. I did a valve and clutch adjustment on Monday which made a huge difference. That was quite the experience and i am very happy with the outcome although it did take me the better part of the day considering it was my first time ever on a 911. I will post some pictures of the car when i get the chance and you guys can give me your two cents worth. I hope everyone had a nice weekend and i look forward to meeting you guys. Thanks, Alex

Welcome.
Don't worry about your age or people letting their guard done, you are welcome here. I think I can speak for the rest when I say...we all look forward to some pictures.

Just joking, the answer is no but the tradition is you post a picture of your car as your introduction so we can all 'oooh' and 'ahhh'

Click on "Post Reply" just below this entry then "go advanced"then "manage attatchments" then choose(browse) a file that doesn't exceed 146.9kb (or some such size) and download it. Something like that anyway. It's not too hard if I can do it.

Welcome! Wheres the pictures?
Why can't my 18 year old be more like you. All he wants to do is fish, surf, and chase girls. When It come to vehicles I have to threaten him to get him to wash his truck.

Welcome!
Nice to see a young man interested in real sports cars and not that tuner stuff.
You have a beautiful Carrera.
