Finally found a real clean 87 Cabriolet(always been partial to 87-89) with a lot of miles, but the top end and trans. was rebuilt approx. 50K miles ago by Jones Autowerks in San Antonio. Jones has all the service records for the last 3 owners (covering approx. 15 years) on hand and I will get copies in the future.
Some may find it hard to believe, but this is one of the best driving 911's I have owned over the last 18 years. The top is fairly recent and the body is as solid as you can get. Currently has 165K on odometer and has always been well cared for.
Think I will try to keep this one.

Congratulations! WOO HOO!! You're gonna love that car. I debated for quite a while between a coupe and a cab. I fell in love with the classic coupe with whale tail when I was in high school. But I ended up with a cabriolet and I will never go back. It's a blast.
Mine has 117K miles on the original engine and until a few miles ago, original clutch. It's a solid machine I believe.
I've got a buddy in Burnet, TX who would probably like to run with you. His 89 964 C4 is hard to keep up with... but then again, you've got a real 911

Cab is the only way to go...well, except for a turbo-look cab. The engine note is such a horrible thing to hide behind a steel roof. Congrats and enjoy!

Thanks everyone. Will try to post some pictures in near future. With the Texas heat being around 100 it is actually fairly comfortable with top down and the A/C works better than average if needed. That is a good point about being able to hear the engine better then a Coupe or Targa, definately easier to hear and sounds excellant.

Great P-car Tom! The 87-89 in white with black interior & top is STILL my dream 911... I lusted over your car during my college years. I still have the DuPont Registry issue from 1992 with a classified picture that shows an '89 Cab in white/black looking brand new. I keep that mag because I remember how I felt when I first saw that car...
Enjoy it! It looks great!
