I think I know what they were thinking. Remember the sign outside the De Javu' strip club in Miami? It reads "100's of beautiful girls, and 3 ugly ones". Well, they could get the beautiful girls in the car, but the ugly ones needed that little somethin' extra to give it up.

Didn't his side kick (Tubs?), in "real life" go into a side-line bling-kit business, making fake lambos, ferraris, etc?

2. The Strosek's aesthetics are not to my taste, a bit over the top for most P-car owners, I think. Hence the suggestion that this is why Corvettes are sold, as a tongue in cheek slam on the whole gold chain/over-the-top bling-bling car crowd.

Sorry. Thanks for the clarification. One way to quickly tell whether the
base car was a 993 or not is the wiper spacing. 993 wiper shafts are only
about 5 to 6 inches apart. Earlier cars are spread apart alot more. The yellow
beast's wiper shafts have a wide spread.

Seriously, guys. Go look at the 2001 Custom Ford Focus in the For Sale section. I love the "body" that is on that car.
