Perhaps the attached chart will help. Again, I think 50w is great for summer, but 20w is a little too thick in my opinion for Chicago winters, which can see well below 0F.

Default Regarding the car

The car will never be driven in the winter. But my daily commute is 35 miles each way. So I am concerned with weight and sitting in alot of traffic. I will order a case of BP tonight and give the 20-50 green a try. Thank you everyone.

Ohh quick update, first gear had seven teeth left and second had 11 teeth. Everything else was rubbed gone. But third thru fifth look great still. So I lucked out on the full rebuild as far as the gears go. I am still replacing the rings all the way thru though. I figure I am in there may as well. I will try to get pics posted this week. I doubt my guy will have the trans rebuilt that quick. Just hoping to enjoy some miles in June. Also decided on a pre muffler and a Dansk dual out exhaust. I will let you know how it sounds as well.
