A Minivan? He needs to be banned for at least 30 minutes from the board!
Hey, I'm glad the dog likes it, plus it keeps your 911 clean! Congrats.

I believe since he still has a 911 in his possession, then he is allowed a minivan. I think that's how it works.

Yes, it's in the P-Car Ownership and ByLaws. See section IV, Subsection B2, Paragraph 3, last two lines. He's been approved for said purchase.

I am speaking mainly of many folks' (and pardon me for my opinion) supposed "need" for an SUV when a wagon can often be had (except for the larger SUVs of course) with equal-better interior pass/cargo room. Recall what has been brought to the table by other posters: BMW and Merc wagons ...not exactly Suburban-size cub feet.

Again, it begs the question: what does an SUV get you that a wagon (of sim size, remember) won't get you? So go ahead and make the personal choice for the SUV, fine. I'm no anti-large-vehicle tree hugger, believe me! It's just an issue of "economics" to me, in the strict sense of the word. FWIW, I've nver felt at a loss with either a wagon or, Lord forbid, a minivan at my disposal. Ya wanna haul stuff? Then get what vehicle fits the stated task, not the perception. I thought we were talking dog and misc stuff in the back, remember?? Ah hem ...all IMHO of course.

I agree. Most people have no use for 4WD, ground clearance, and the other things an SUV can provide over a wagon. I just got back from a week in Simi Valley, CA and I saw moms everywhere driving huge SUVs with 22" wheels. Also tons of huge 4X4 pickups with lift kits, big mudder tires, roll bars...I guess it's in style.
Vans are very practical and get pretty good mileage considering how large they are. Sounds like Joey got what he needed and sorry to him for the OT ranting.

I Think 2,7,9 seires volvos are great..new vewer have had eletrical, issueso of 850 series in 95
I worked at the volvo dealer when that car came out..i quit shorty after..I have worked for Lexus 10.5 yrs.
i ve learned alot about oyota pruducs. so i recommend older 4-runner, Landcruiser and lx450.the later 2 hard bad on gas but very reliable.and.they will tend to use oil at higher mileage 120+..

Or... maybe the dog's name, but in no way allow anyone to know
it's in your name cause' you need to be the "undercover brother"!

Mark

P.S.: Plus, make sure you wear shades when impersonating a "soccer mom".
