Edward, 1 track car = 2 road cars, so you are ok. I am not certain what an Odyssey's Pink is - something to do w/ Eliot Spitzer's recent issues?
Joey, Special dispensation for launching a new Ex. Dog may aid in closing on a new squeeze, but not sure about the T&C... depends upon the Ts & Cs (work AND be rich - that's a challenge, but your up to it, I'm sure...).

I have a 2000 Volvo v70R and love it. It's been super reliable over the 8 years we've had it. A co-worker has a dog and drives a Volvo 850 wagon and says it works well for him.
Edit: maybe I shoulda read the whole thread before posting since you already bought something. I'm personally not a minivan (or SUV) person, but it sounds like you got what you needed.

With all due respect to those who have (and actually need) large SUVs, thanks for not buying one just to haul your pup around. I was going to +1 on the Subaru wagon suggestion (we're 7 time Subie owners), but it sounds like you got something you're quite happy with ("happy" being a relative term ) and should be more effecient than a giant truck.
Did you mention where you live? Just curious if you need AWD or if FWD is enough? Where we are, a little Subie makes a great companion to pretty much any Pcar...especially when we get a dumping of snow like last weekend!
Cheers

i live in nc..so front wheel drive is fine...i am thrilled with the thing..i am taking a foursome to play golf saturday..and will be able to do it in comfort..just waxed the 911 and its great knowing that it will never see rain again..and that a/c is no longer an issue..its really great..j

To put this in perspective... I have an 08 Accord... and it has more interior room and seats 5 more comfortable than a midsize Chevy Trailblazer... The trunk isnt as high (obviously), but its actually a larger footprint.. so SUV's while good for offroad often dont have that much more usable space than a decent size car. Id go with the Wagon if all your hauling is a dog... If your gonna get a SUV for a dog.. get a RAV4 or CRV.

used the mini-van for a golf trip today...eight sets of clubs,no problem..rained like hell on the ride home,no problem...and my 911 is in the garage nice and dry and waxed...yippie..
