Whoops, I said $30k! Must have somehow overlooked the M503 option!

Good luck with getting a good price. While you may one day regret it, you'd regret more if you actually did turn it into a garage queen for lack of use. If you want another one later, you obviously know how to go about finding a good car that will suit.
Before you part company, though, with that car, would you mind offering a few reminiscences about what it's like? Open top on the open road, the feel of the...you know.... Give us a eulogy.

Actually, having 2 911s make the notion of a garage queen 911 more plausible. I flog the GT3 on the track, and then come home and chill out with the Speedster on those Saturday fun runs... Kinda of like a mistresses and a wife....
DOH! Did I just say that? Back to our normally scheduled programming...

Yo, B
Your secret is, of course, safe with me.
I see your point. I have to say I kinda envy your situation. I always wondered what it would be like to have a mistress.
Hey, do you ever feel guilty, when driving one--like, a nagging feeling that you oughtta be driving the other? Or, is more like the zen thing, you know...your mind is where your body is -- body and mind at one? Or, is it more like when with one it's, like, "Yeah, I deserve this" and when with the other, it's something like "Oh, baby. Your @ss is mine!" ?
Jus' talkin' cars, B.

LOL - You know, I do feel guilt! The WORST scenario is driving the GT3 and then getting into the Speedster. How shall I put this - it initally feels tired and lethargic. But after a few miles, I remember why I like it. That wide grin comes back on my face and all is well with he world.
And this is why I can't comprehend the need for drnd to get rid of his speedster!

drnd, I was on trader.ca last night which is the Canadian on-line auto trader and I saw 2 speedsters for sale, One was asking $79,000.00. Although our dollar is an par with the US, we have less volume of Porsche's in Canada which tends to drive the price up a bit. I also checked out dupont registry and there were a couple in there in the $60k range. Check these places out for comparables.

Maybe I'll sell the 993 and keep the speedster. What do you guys think? I do drive the 993 more often though. However, when I drive the speedster it just feels more of a special car. I just baby the speedster more and the 993 is more just get in and drive.

If the Speedster is more special why do you drive it less than the car you "just get in and drive"? Sounds like you enjoy the 993 more than you think.

Don't get me wrong. I love driving both cars. I am lucky to be able to have both. The speedster however is a weekend car and not a daily driver. The 993 is.

That speedster is a special car. A 993 is easily replacable...looking at your car list you are a lucky guy able to afford very very high dollar cars, but in my opinion the only reason I'd be pondering selling a car like yours would be to replace it with an older and more valuable car, but that is just me.
I love 993s, will buy another one someday, but a 3.2 Speedster in that condition is irreplacable honestly. I think you'd kick yourself a few weeks after selling. Get something else new, sell the 993 and get the blood flowing and I think you'll be happier that way.
