Hi all,
I did a search on this forum and the F/S forum and didn't find much. I'm looking for an early 80's SC cab or a late 80's Carrera Cab for the summer.
Not too picky on color or mileage. I'm more concerned with condition and service history.
In addition, I'd be interested in anyone's opinion on the following
I found a couple of cars I like at a reputable dealer (one that is recommended here on Rennlist and other forums as well). However, the car in question '87 cab has little to no service history. I would obviously do PPI, but what are thoughts on car with no history?
Thanks,

Well, you posted in two minutes so it wasn't that long. Keep an eye on cars.com for the older Porsches. Use 91701 on autotrader.com as your location to surch for a 911.

87 is a great year - just have a good PPI - check for the obvious - valve guides, compression, leak down test - The g-50 is expensive to fix - so make sure that's uo to snuff

I did a search on "valuations" but didn't find much. Anyone know any decent resources. '87 Cab, Grand Prix White with Burgandy, 55k miles (so will need 60k service). No service history, but very well know dealer. 30 day 1500 mile warranty with work to be done at any local Porsche shop and dealer will pay.

I agree with Jeremy. Don't discount the car, just get a good PPI. He's right on the price too. Sloan has an '88 Cab 53K for $28500. His cars are typically pristine so use that as a high price. Bear in mind that there is usually a $5K premium for buying from a dealer with little or no added security.
And what dealer? The "recommended" dealer list is pretty short.
Post more details & pictures & we can thrash it for you online.

Ian,
I've been looking for a while, so I'm hesitant to post it, but what the hell. If I found it, so can everyone else.
Here are the two I'm considering. Let the trashing begin!!!!![crying](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigcry.gif)
