What did I say? What did I do?

Shannon, I hope I didn't start something that I shouldn't have. I will beg if I have to. Come back, send me a PM, and let's chat.

Take care,
Douglas

Is there a such thing as inappropriate on Rennlist? Yes - if it's when you directly attack someone. But Shannon did no such thing, just having a bit of fun. Maybe she just needs to get some work done?

In any event, Matt, how are those M+S tires working out for you?

I don't really try them out in anything else than a cold dry road. On some days when it is really sunny you get water on the road from the melt (Like in the pics). They are fine for that. A few times I took them in the fluffy white snow (before the salt trucks showed up) to go sideways at very low speeds around corners in the neighbourhood. They are fine as far as all-seasons go. It's hard to compare because I have never had a car that had such wide tires, I am use to my old civic or my even older golf which are front wheel drive narrow tired cars.

However my mom's versa with winter tires would kill that 911 in braking, cornering, and acceleration. It even embarrassed an A4 with all-seasons. My civic feels much more competent in the winter with it's winter tires than the P Car, which is expected. It plows instead of fishtailing. As you no doubt already know, much like Chicago, up here if you are going to drive every day in the winter you need winter tires.

Yeah, I agree on the winter tires, even if you there is not much snow and temps are still cold.

If I do, it will only be a pic of me weeping at the loss of a rennlist member.

I think she is just playing hard to get. She, like my car, is from Ohio. You remember the bumper sticker "Virginia is for lovers"? Well, I once saw one that said "Ohio is for lovers". Maybe she found another lover in Ohio that doesn't tease her as much as all the guys here. Even my motivational picture could be brutal if you took it wrong...

...Of course she may have really been the guy from the NSX Prime website and got owned.

So, sounds like the Women's Entitlement movement has reached the shores of the land downunder! I thought only Canadian women were that cold! There's just something reassuringly disturbing about Spence's comment.

I knew I missed you folks with all the traveling I've been doing lately. This thread has had loads of laughs all the way through (until the perplexing part where vet leaves). She's one of my faves for sure. Come back vet; we love ya.
