To avoid this whole argument I just call mine my 'meow-car' because it purrrrrs every time I start it and I like cats. Silly, i know, but that's me!!

Haha, nice, good one. I am tempted to ditch mine but for one thing; it's welded on, and the second thing is that I am still waiting to know about this whole e-testing change. Will my car have to go through emissions for the rest of it's life?

Porsh - a [the" a" is pronounced almost the same as "e" in fodder]

I know the way it's supposed to be said, but I can't seem to stop calling my car a 'Porsh'...maybe there's a program i can sign up for...

Matt, since you car's an 88, the current Drive Clean policy states that you're in it for life - until they change their minds again. They've eliminated the rolling 20-year-old exemption starting in 07 I think. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more changes to the way the program's run though.
