Default 911 pics from rental in scotland

Hey, thought I would clean up some pics and post them since they have now run in 911&Porscheworld a few months ago.

What an experience.

I read that article and thought how cool it would be to do that. Great article. I've been trying to gather some information on vintage Porsche rental locations through the U.S. and abroad since the article came out.

Nice pics.

But are you sure it's Scotland? There's not one castle or loch??? No heather or kilts? Or a Heather in a kilt . . .

I looked into 911 rental when we went to England a couple of years back. $1,400 a week for an '87 targa. Decided not to bother!

Cheers,

Paul.

I'll bet quite a bit that petrol was NOT included in that calculation, but the price would probably be about the same!

Amazing photos. Did you happen to get one with a picnic set up in front of the car along a country meadow?

Here is as close to a picnic shot as I got.

And the white building is the the Famous Grouse Distillery. The house we rented was actually the original mill for the distillery at the turn of the century when it was known as Glenturret Scotch.

Edradour was our favorite distillery on the trip though. And the petrol was pricey, but really who cares on vacation.

Very nice! I am hoping to rent from Bespokes in the UK on my next trip there in June. Looking forward to it...

A buddy and I rented a 997GT3 from Gotham in New York this past November for a weekend. That was a great experience, and now I am interested in renting exotic cars in unique ports of call...
