Mark, what are you putting in your red racer? You must have something wild if a perfect 3.2 isn't going in. Come on it's me, you can tell me...
put the 3.2 in the 912

The 3.2 in the 912 would be fun, maybe a bit too much... "unfortunately" this 912 has got a fresh rebuild in it. The 3.2 I'm selling here is from an 87 Targa I'm parting out, the 3.2 from the 86 coupe and most of that car has been sold.
I am working on rebuilding a 2.7 with S cams, webers and a chip, and kept the 915 tranny, brakes and suspension from the 86 coupe that are slated for insertion into another 912 donor car. This engine with 7300 rpm redline in a lightweight 912 should be a lot of fun.
Douglas (I still think Douglass Bray with the extra "s" looks better written down you braying "***"), how about a backup 3.2 for your venetian blue man-beast? You could swing by and pick it up on your way down to the name changing bureau.
Regards,
Mark

Mark, my car is such a sissy compared to the beasts at Precision Motion. I used to drive by the old location all the time and just stop in traffic to look. That place is an RS heaven. I remember 6 or 7 long hoods just casually parked out along the street just dripping sexy off them. Keep us more up to date on the race cars.

I had to go to Moreno Valley today and stopped at Precision Motion to see if they had the brakelight switch that I need. (and to see your cars) they sent me over to Car Crafters where I got it for $7.95, not the $20.00+ like the last time. When I got back to the office I looked in auto trader for fun and saw in Moreno Valley an (I think) '86 911 black on black for $8,000. Got me thinking....Add says it doesn't run and you have an engine with no car...so....you could put your $7,000 engine into an $8,000 car and have a car you could sell for $14,000!!! you come out ahead, right?

MARK, I stopped by Precision Motion today and saw a nice C4S come and go while I was in the parking lot and talking to one of the guys. He said that it was Mark that had just sold his 3.2. Mark, as in Mark. Mark as in Svaha, Mark. I was the guy in the yellow shirt and the blue cab 10 feet away....Oh, well. Next time.
