I'm carrying the Scivision MAFs for the 3.2 Carrera and 964s. I'm just about to buy a 3.2 to use to develop the chips for, should have that part done this month. Just now getting into the 911 market. Started in the 944/951 and have chips in over 400 cars now.

Regards,
Russell

what kind of gains do you expect to see from this upgraded MAF system?

The Scivision is a true plug and play kit which plugs right into the old AFM wiring harness. You're not going to see huge HP gains from a MAF. You will see crisper throttle response, and enhanced overall performance and drivability. The Scivision will work with your stock chips, and you can upgrade to mine, or other aftermarket chips later.

Russell

Hi, how much is the Scivision MAFs for the 3.2 Carrera and is the installation a simply plug and play as you have details?

I'm currently currently running a Steve Wong chip, would I need to do any adjustments

Any pictures would be greatly appreciated, thx

Hello,

The Scivision kits are all priced the same, currently 799.00 USD. This price will need to go up some in the future, not a lot as I don't look to make much profit off of the Scivision itself, I count on people buying my chips with the kits as I optimize them for use with the Scivision. I currently do not have chips for the 3.2, but am working on them now. The chips will retail at $349.00 USD, but I always introduce products with a Rennlist promotion which will be at $299.00.

I don't have a definitive time for release of the 3.2 chips, my plan is inside of 30 days now that I have the car. But as I said the Scivision is truly plug and play and works fine with the stock chips, and should work okay with the Steve Wong chips, but will be better once I have optimized chips for it.

Here's a pic of the 951 kit, the only difference on the 911 kit will be the hoses/adapter.

Regards,
Russell

Yes, I'll be doing some of the tuning on the dyno, but I do a lot of it driving around data logging to get the part throttle maps running the best I can. That's really where a lot of aftermarket chips are limited, as they only dyno tune, thus only modify the wide open throttle maps. I make the car run the best it can in all ranges. But the first thing I will do before making any modifications to the maps is do a stock dyno run to get a baseline on this car, and address any running issues I may have first. I'll do a video of the dyno runs and post them. I hope to do the baseline run next week.

Regards,
Russell
