It really should be in a school research lab or a class room somewhere. I got most of the equipment second hand. the skimmer, power heads, chiller, display tank, refugium tank (calerpa macro alge), halide and power compact light fixtures, timers, sump, media filters, and lots of test equipment that I haven't used in a year were all second hand. I give them calcium , iodine and 2 1/2 gallons of fresh R/O water every other day, that is it. I harvest and sell the extra calerpa that grows in the refugium every other month or so. most of that money gets spent on my wifes tank. I haven't spent a dime out of pocket in a year. (other than the electric bill)

don't confuse the total energy content per lb. (or per litre) of fuel with the ability of a motor to get more hp from that fuel

80% of what I have found here has nothing to do with keeping our cars on the road or sharing our love of this car. It's almost all side tracked wanderings. ya every once in a while some guy comes on with a real question like one young UCSB grad that couldn't figure out how to remove his front tires. over and over he said he had it in park, his honda's front tires don't do this, on and on he couldn't keep the wheel from spinning while on a jack....I helped him out, gave him my cell phone number and walked him thru it. I believe that is what this board is all about. it worked for that guy anyway. then everyone went back to banter. find one question that I could answer, that I didn't. I paid the membership fee and got my card and sticker and when the owners of the site ask me to calm down the joy, I will. until then I am going to continue the rants. if you look closely most of it is in response to a question or a private message. and yes, I'll be in Carlsbad this weekend. thinking of my reef, six kids, bmx, and all the great friends I have made on RENNLIST.
