Default Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum.

Hi All,

just thought I'd use my first post to say hello.

I've had my turbo bodied 80' 911 SC for almost a year and am loving every minute of it.

Have a few things planned for it over the coming months, mainly cosmetic + comfort based.

Things I have done so far:
Gearbox rebuild (got someone else to do that )
upgraded to hydraulic cam chain tensioners
modified throttle pedal to make heal n' toe easier
built, covered and fitted new door cards

Very good looking car; great color too. Does your heat & AC both work? That's always a lot of fun to get working.

Welcome to the forum, I think you'll like it here.

thanks for the welcomes guys!

no AC on this one, but there is not much call for it with the Scottish weather

The heating system baffles me, but thats for a future post whem I'm ready to tackle it.

heres another couple of pics taken last week at a local rolling road.
I work for a computer games company and the sound director wanted to use my car's exhaust note for one of the cars in the game we are making, so off we went to do some recording on the rolling road, and I got a free power run out of it! Bonus!

all the best
Nick

sooo, what did you run for Hp / Tq numbers?
Also, what octane were you running during the pull?

I ran when I first got mine at 50k miles, then again this year around 76k miles. Gasoline formulation changed, and I dropped a few.

Looks like I'm not the new guy anymore! Or at least the one with the smallest post count...

Welcome to the forum. Lots of smarts here, and lots of people who just love to talk about their cars.

just wondering, nick - what game company do you work for? My company is in the game industry too and the only company I can think of in that part of the world doing a racing game (I know - I'm assuming it IS a racing game) is Bizarre.

Welcome to the group! There is a lot of great info here!

What's parked next to you in your pic? By the reflection, there are phone-dial porsche wheels on it, but the corner that is visible looks like a fiberglass el-camino or something....
