hi Mrhuebler,
I wouldn't be pulling anything apart till I had the applicable workshop manual.
I've done several manual gearboxes however never a Porsche. I will be doing mine when it needs it but not without the "book"

I'm sure others will chime in here...................

I have the books, but i took the box with me to work, I'm operating a CNC-machine, and it can manage working on it's own for a couple of hours..hehe...

So i only need this info so i can open it up and finally get a good look in there

I'm trying to work out which box it is and if I have it in my books.
The entire transmission, does it have two pieces or three?
Can you read and of that number that is worn?

It's a 3piece, i know what you mean, it's not the one with a 1\2inch piece in the middle...Right?

40124 is the number on the bottom.
