Who's got 2 911s?
ok, i just bought my second 911.
non-porsche friends think it's nuts and don't understand it.
so now i have a polo red 67 coupe and the tangerine 69T coupe arrives soon.
who else has 2 (or more)? i'm curious to see which ones and know why?!
heres a pic to start the ball rolling (i don't own the one in front but as i'm still awaiting my second newborn arrival i dont have a shot of my 911 twins unfortunately) so this is just for fun...

I've got the disease as well...
1990 964 concours only car:
1984 3.2 "driver":
My brother has 4 911's, so he's clinically insane:
1983 Turbo Look:
1983 911SC Euro:
1970 911T with an "E" motor:
and a newly purchased 1965 911 in need of some restoration:
You asked why... My 964 got pretty competitive with concours, so in order to keep it in top shape without having to redo a lot of areas due to driving, I stopped driving it. I maybe put 350 to 500 miles per year on it. So, I missed driving the older 911's so much, I picked up my '84 about a year ago. One for show, one to beat to work.
My brother just plain likes old cars... He's had the Turbo look since 1997. He was pretty much finished with that car cosmetically and mechanically, so in 2005 he bought another '83 to drive. He really wanted a pre impact bumper car, but liked the Ruby Red '83 enough to buy it. Then, he ran across the '70 a year later and had to buy it. The '65 was bought on a whim this spring since we felt we should probably have a first year car in the family to tinker with...we're still waiting for Intercity to drop it off... We've got most of the 911 spectrum covered... I guess we still need a 2.7, a 930 (I really want a 1976 or 1977 Turbo Carrera) and a 993 and that should do it...

I have a 97 993 and a 88 targa, I guess the 928s4 doesn't count here.
Camera was broke so I don't have a picture of the Red Targa, but here is the 993.
I like the new 88 Targa so much, and it is so nice (previously a concours car), that I'm thinking about selling the 993 and / or the 928 and getting a driver 911, targa or coupe.
Does this ever end...........

I am in for 3 currently a crap load over time....
87 M491 cab, 89 Speedster and 03 Targa, and two water pumpers 968 and 928(which i am lovingly completely restoring, a money pit for sure, but it will be practically new when done)
