Default Hello

Greetings all

I am brand new here, but long time addict.

I have 2006 Carrera S as daily, 1972 T targa which is my resto project, and I just picked up a lovely 1994 968......which I thought my girl would love..she doesnt. (I will post photos when I figure out how)

So she has decided on a 993 (I'm not arguing much), and she has a preference for a Polar silver car , but would consider other colours.

We are based in Orlando, but are travelling to California for a week next week, so we could see cars their as well.....any tips or suggestions welcome big time.

Those polar silver cars sure are pretty.

This is the nicest place I have found online to hibernate from the unwashed masses, kudos to all here who contribute. I knwo I'm going to need some help on this early 911 targa (oil filler on side model) , and I hope to be of use to others here.

One last thought, I am huge watch fanatic as well, maybe a shot of car and watch collection thread ?.....

Amyway enough drivel....

Thankyou everyone

brakinglate,

Definitely check out all the forums that relate to your particular cars. Here is one watch thread that I know of: https://rennlist.com/forums/watches/213851-poll-part-two-what-kind-of-watch-es-do-you-have.html.

When it comes to tips on buying, everyone on this board will suggest a PPI by an independent mechanic. Ask around for a good independent shop in CA. The PPI should include a compression test among other things. After the PPI, if the car has no major issues, then congrats: it's a great car, one of the best
