...is it Rennlist? I have AOL dial up and have had a lot of trouble accessing/using Rennlist over the last few days. Anyone else having trouble? We're thinking of switching to high speed (and giving up our 11+ year old screen names), does anyone have feedback on AT&T? Sorry about the OT post but it just took me 45 minutes to log in...

Hi Guys,
It's all at your end! I've checked Rennlist every day this week and it been just fine.
I suppose it picks up a fair bit of speed on the down hill run from the USA!!

I had some problems earlier in the day, but it came back on strong about 4:30 Central time today. It wasn't the internet because I could pull up just about any thing I wanted.

Hi Nick! What is Firefox?
Jim: How does the free AOL service work? I assume they remain an e-mail provider, but when high speed is added how does one control where posts, etc. go? Is e-mail still accessed through dial-up, and the Internet via high speed?

Firefox is Explorers nemesis. Everyone i know who runs it loves it, and apparently it is far less susceptable to viruses written for Explorer.
I still run Microsoft Exploder however...

Yes, I have an ASDL at home, a 9MB DS3 at work and a 100MB cogent backup. With all 3, Rennlist occasionally is slow to load. But only occasionally.

I don't know for sure, but I think you access the internet thru your (new) high speed connection and then go to aol.com to send/receive email. Hopefully someone can give you more definitive info - perhaps AOL directly?
