Am I the only guy driving to san diego to see if this is real? 87 factory slant nose cabrio in white w/61,000 miles. $24,999. he said six guys will be at his door when he opens tomorrow....autotrader, who knew?

it is on autotrader now listed at $26,999. he said people are calling from all around but no one believes him about it being a true factory slant nose. he says the previous owner just wanted to update to an even rarer "newer" porsche. I am going today to look for myself. as of last night the guy he wanted it to go to had not returned his calls.

theiceman, just understand that I have a picture of myself from about '87-'88 in a red slant nose in wahington d c when I was 19 or 20. the slant nose has had a special place in my soul ever since.

So has anyone asked for the option codes and to see if the steering wheel is correct, that should tip off whether it is correct or not... no 505 on the white sticker no dice.. capice.

and it says a 5-speed. only in '89. this car is not worth an airline ticket. for that matter a long distance call. its a phony.

yes, i drove the 110 miles south to san diego for the express reason of seeing this slant nose ( and spending quality time with my '88 cab)...What an erotic car...I paid the membership fee just to post the pictures I took. and yes, it may be a fake, but a good fake. a really sexy fake. go ahead and poke fun at me now and get it over with. it was worth it.
