Default Does anybody know of a source for touch up paint??

I have a 88' Targa Cassis/Cassirot Red and have a couple of small spots I would like touch up. The color is not common, as it is a one year only color. Does anybody know of any online sources that my have it? I ordered some from eagleday only to find out they did not stock it anymore. So far, no luck.

Cheers!

www.eagleday.com and look under Porsche, they might be able to source the actual factory touch up vials... but paintscratch is also terrific

A second on www.paintscratch.com
I've used them for a metalic silver and a guards red car, perfect match and
you can get a spray !!

Thanks for the info. I did try eagleday and they were unable to help and/or locate any match. I will give paintscratch a try.

Thanks!

I picked up a bottle of GP White for my 88 at my local Porsche dealer.

I got some 1984 Platinum metalic from Porsche dealer and did not match.

I ordered some from Levine Automotive and it was almost perfect (spray can). I ordered a second time and they had used a new basestock and did not match perfectly. After checking original spray can codes, they remixed and sent me corrected paint. That was nice.

I suggest, if you go with Levine, mention my experience with their basestock change. They mix from a book.

I tried the Porsche dealers in my area to no avail. I am going to call paintsratch before I order to confirm they have it or can get it. If that does not work I will look to Levine.

Thanks again.
