Default Tracking down service records (help)

I just purchased a 1985 Factory Turbo Look from Redding CA. The car was orignially sold by Allen Prosche in Burbank CA (no longer in business).

I found a recipt in the car from Woodville Washington from 1998. I called the closest Porsche dealer (Barrier Motors in Bellevue WA) who said they never worked on the car.

Carfax states that the car was in Washington form 1997 to 2004. I would like to call some independent shops in the area and try to track down the service records.

If you know of Porsche Independent shops in the Redmond - Bellevue area please send me contact information:

fredcalero@comcast.net

Thanks!

John Walker's

Even though he's not on the Eastside, he's well-known, been around forever, air-cooled's only. In fact, if somebody's lived in this area and owned an air-cooled, odds are he's probably worked on the car at some point.

Some on the Eastside, in order of likelihood that they've seen it:

European Car Authority may have also been known as Redmond European, Inc. I have old records for this name under the same address as European Car Authority.

The previous owner I bought the car from purchased the car from Champoinship Motors in Redmond WA. The guys at Championship can not by law give me the name of the customer they bought the car from. He did say a couple of things that may help.

1) they bought the car from the wife of a retired doctor
2) The family has moved away
3) the Licence plate was UWO1994 (looks like a personal plate who knows what UWO stands for?)

This is a factory Turbo Look car 1985 Red with bacl top and tan interior. Not many around so if a shop worked on it thay would most likely remember. I also dont thinka doctor would typically do his own maintenance.

It was in the WA area for over 15 years. I really would like to build a service history on this so ANY help would be appreciated.

I have called all the shops listed above but will call them again now that I have new information.

Thanks in advance.

Strphen,

B&H phone # does not work. I found their web site but the phone is not active...not even the fax.

Thanks for the lead.

I'm a PCA member and would really appreciate any information from the PCA folks in the region.
