Default Ash Tray delete, such thing as a one piece knee pad?

I really dont like the ash tray on the dash and the knee pads and the tray dont match up completely straight. It really annoys me (I know, I know) anyone know if there is a one piece replacement that does right across? It would look so much better IMO.

keep a better eye on the road and these types of things become less significant.

Actually, I like the idea, but have never seen such an animal. I'd think a delete option is 'inherent' in all 911 ashtrays, you just end up with a hole there instead of a mis-aligned trim pad.

Think of the weight savings too! (hey, mine is full of change, so it is pretty heavy!)

hehehe, I wonder what the 911 Club Sport had?

I can't imagine them putting an ashtray in that?

I think I may have seen it on Christian's (CV) car (which is awesome!) in the 964 forum, I'll have a dig around, I think the dash is pretty much the same on the 964s.

I deleted my console and made a panel for the AC controls that fits there.

On my 1970 I used a 67 knee pad w/o ashtray. I don't know what your options are for later car.

spence,

take it to pimp my ride and thy could paint it candy green and put a 42 inch flip down where the ash tray goes.

Best of luck,

such a good idea! I was hoping they could turn the dash into a fountain and have fish swimming though the dials, that would be so classy.
