thing about replacing my very nice leather factory electric sport seats with "race" seats only to save weight...use as a weekend driver really.....hear sparco, recaro, ect are good, but what about these less expensive Hunsaker seats??? anyone have experience with them??? what about mounting? I've got an 85 carrera...

If my factory seats are 60lbs each? and these are 25lbs each, looks like I can save 60 lbs off the ol' girl with $340+shipping pretty easily...thoughts?.

my math is evidently gotten bad...should be 70lbs lost vs 60lbs with those seats

IMO, you get what you pay for. Many of the cheap seats have poor stitching, etc. The deal you get will most likely be short-lived when they start to look like crap.

Oh, I'll probably keep my factory seats for a while if I buy replacements...for the record, they are black leather...
