Default Spark Plug Wires on an SC

I've done a search on what spark plug wires I should get for my SC, and it seems that a lot of people like the Magnecor Wires as opposed to the braided steel Beru wires.

Just wanted to get some more opinons on that. Also, Magnecor has 7, 8, and 8.5mm wires. Which would you recommend?

i found the people at magnecor very helpful...they said for me to bring my car in and they would make the appropriate ones up on the spot

The beru ones look great and also work as designed by the Dr himself. I put these ones on as well. Recomended by the same dude as above.

I've got the Magencor 8.5s which replaced what I assume were the original Berus. They work great, are better looking, and much cheaper. I think I paid around $155 with shipping last year.

I have 8.5mm Magnecores on my 88 Carrera. They work wonderfully.

My favorite kind of wires are new ones. I don't like the cheapos, but I was able to order and buy a set of bosch for my fiat abarth recently for a wopping 18.00. Go figure the cost difference for 2 more wires.

I have the 8 mm Magnecore's on my SC motor. Seemed to improve the idle quality a bit over the stock wires. Jerry Woods recommends saving your money and avoiding the factory SS wires.

The stock ones were actually relatively new. Probably 2-3 years old.
