Default 911 RS factory colors?

Anybody have a link or info on the factory color combos on the '73 RS? Search didn't produce anything...
Thanks!

The word is they were all originally white from the factory, and you could get the lettering/wheels in red, blue, green, or black. If the buyer wished, they could have the car returned to the factory and repainted the color of their choice. Anyone here feel free to correct me if I'm wrong . . .

That seems correct, as you generally see base white, thanks!

What exactly do you mean? Are you talking the racing or road version?
Porsche racing cars are usually sold in plain white to their racing team customers. However they also sold yellow ones as well.
If you are talking 911RS road versions then there was a colour pallette of around nine (thirteen actually) standard colours if I remember correctly.
Ciao,
Adrian.

I was referring to the street cars, was hoping for the correct color info as well as possibly a cool picture of the collection together. Thanks!

Here is the colour pallette as reproduced by RUF in 2004.
Good luck with the photo, but such things are usually reserved for books.
The only genuine 911RS I have seen in real life with Carrera down the side was not a 2.7 litre ferom 1973, but a 3.0 litre from 1974.
German market 911RSs were sold in 1973 without the Ducktail as well.
Ciao,
Adrian.

Light yellow was the most popular RS color, believe it or not (although they considered GP white with red decals a different color than GP white with blue decals).

Here's the breakdown:

Aubergine - 16
Bahia Red - 42
Beige Gray - 0
Tangerine - 126
Leaf Green - 2
Ivory - 0
Special color to order - 15
Lilac - 16
Raspberry - 4
Glacier Blue - 16
Grand-Prix White only - 7
Grand-Prix White/Blue - 205
Grand-Prix White/Green - 60
Grand-Prix White/Red - 185
Gulf Blue - 18
Gulf Orange - 25
Light Yellow - 296
Light Green - 11
Light Ivory - 160
India Red - 30
Irish Green - 12
Chartreuse - 23
Olive - 4
Black - 62
Dalmation Blue - 55
Sepia Brown - 19
Signal Yellow - 87
Signal Orange - 5
Viper Green - 79
