Default RS Carerra Garage

Hi !

My hobby is building scale garages 1:24
This is my latest diorama model

The garage diorama (shoebox size ) has real 12 volt lightbulbs.
The models are plastic kits 1:24 Fujimi and the garage is scratchbuild.

Wilco,

Outstanding work, that is amazing. The detail is incredible. How long does a project like that take?

Nice work, looks like the minurature mechanics could spend a weekend cleaning out the garage and having a mnurature sale on minurature used parts.

What kind of oil do you use in the RS?

Hi

This diorama took months to build.
I used all kinds of materials like, Plastic ,Wood, metal, and so on.
This garage is one from the 70's somewhere in Germany.
I like nostalgic garages dirty and unorganized.

This is an old engine ready for overhaul.

Default Unbelievable.

What a great hobby and wonderful work. I love it when someone puts this level of detail and time into anything. I have a problem just getting the same amount of air in the front tires.

Two questions:

Do you use old garage photos as your basis or do you just build your own design?

Do you make your own parts or buy them? I did not even realize anyone sold a scale model of 2-post lift, hose reels, jack stands, etc.

Hi

I never build a model from a picture, all models are in my head (fictive)
Some parts are for sale (plastic modelkit)but the most things are scratchbuild.

now you're going to have to get into miniature restorations [your left front caliper on the black car looks rusty...] they're probably cheaper than full size.....
