Phone dials on a Mini - didn't know you can convert 4 to 5 lug. Looks pretty cool I think. He used a 25mm adapter to get the offset to 40.

A buddy of mine has a Works Mini that has been tweaked by a local tuner.

We swapped cars at Autocross and it is a very easy car to drive quickly. It is a hoot of a ride and I would definately consider it if i was seeking another car.

In my experience, the Mini is a blast on the streets, but it's something of a dud (compared to an early 911, at least) on a track.

she'd be getting the mini strictly for street purposes, but i'd also be using it occasionally so i am glad to hear it is as fun to drive as it looks like it would be. i should probably go check out one of the mini forums to see if there are any issues with them.

My wife has an '04 Mini Cooper S. Neat little car, but it does have the annoying 'hesitation' that plagues many of these cars. Lots more info here...

I heard the facelift model has different front suspension- the old style was more expensive- no idea which is better. I kinda prefer the old style. Some folks have actually mounted Cooper headlights on 911s- looks cool, I can't remember where I saw the thread. I agree on the Thule- that car would look better with the driving lights too...

There was a guy on pelican the other day with a 911 (maybe a 964?) that had frankensteined mini headlights onto his car. Surprisingly, they actually looked really good - very natural. I was surprised. I'll see if I can find the post.
