I have a Porsche Blanking Plate covering the hole where the radio might have gone!
Radio head, Amp, and those big heavy magnets on those big heavy speakers. I'm not sharing my limited horsepower with any of those

I have an Alpine deck from like '92 with 2 Boston Acustic speakers...hmm maybe there is four speakers...anyway the sound really sucks. Would not mind an upgrade but I do not really want to do anything too drastic.

I gotta an Alpine something or other with a something 6 CD changer and speakers. Not sure if it still works - prefer the sound of the engine. :-) I'm trying to find an original replacement unit.
Reminds me of a faux pax. I took the fiance of a friend of mine for a ride first day I got the car. There I was happily enjoying the sounds of my new car, and she freakin' turns the freakin' stereo on!!!
Couple of things.
1. Never touch the drivers stereo
2. Never touch a MANS stereo
3. Driver chooses channel
4. Never take the clueless for a ride in your new Porsche

Nakamichi CD400, Infinity Kappas front & rear, Clarion SRV303 7" powered sub under the pass. seat.
Would love to do something more with the stereo, but I have (3) things I am currently facing as obstacles:
1) It's a Cab. Not a whole lot of bass going on there.
2) I have a Fabspeed Euro Pre-muffler & Muffler Bypass currently (M&K 1-in/1-out was on briefly, but I was putting down a local guy who thought his SSIs & 2-out muffler was "loud". I never took it off after)
3) I currently have the roll bar bolted in, which negates using the side panel pieces / rear speakers.
So technically, it's (2) front 6.5" Kappas, & the SRV303 only.

I've a Becker Mexico Pro CD head unit, a Clarion Active Sub behind the passenger seat & the stock speakers. Thought about changing the speakers, but the factory ones still sound great - even after 15 years!!

A radio that's just good enough to listen to talk radio once in a great while, when stuck in traffic, on a Wednesday morning, on a rainy day, when not too much of a serious nature is going on in the world. And that's my F 150, the 911's radio gets used even less...

Besides the stock stereo? Two buttons that make the windows go down so I can hear the beast out back roaring. I don't need XM SAtellite and Howard Stern when I have this amazing engine to entertain me.

Both my '84 and my '90 have the stock systems in them including head unit and original speakers. I've even re-foamed the original front speakers on the '90 to keep everything original.
Both systems have O.K. head units, but the speakers are horrendous. Someone paid over $450 for the optional, upgraded system in the 964 and it's almost worse than the system in the '84. Terrible sound.
My Honda's got a 770 watt aftermarket system though!
