Received a new addition to the family......girlfriend is nervous!
Came from CA to Mississauga ,Ontario.
Your forums are invaluable to gain more info on these 930's.....Thanks in advance...the learning curve will be steep at first!

Nice machine. I am sure on the Canadian Forum we would be interested in the import process as the strong dollar makes it tempting to do as you did.

Didn't drive back.....would have had to pay Cal sales tax if I did.
Had it shipped via Buffalo,NY, then to Toronto.
The taxes kill you though. There's 6% excise tax, 8% GST and then 7% PST when you licence it.....quite a tax penalty when all is taken into account........................but it was worth every penny!!!!!

How did you handle the Canadian legal issues such as daylight runners etc ? outstanding recals and did you brng it yorself or did you have a broker do it ?

Its an '87 as far as I remeber when I lived in Canada(I am a canadian) Day time runnign didn't legally have to be out on cars until the fall of 89. Unless things have changed

sracer is right, daytime running lights not an issue. Handled importation myself - not too involved. Can discuss.....e-mail me at trinaia@basf.com.
